If that is not enough, Thermatech® solar reflectance technology is featured in most COLORBOND® steel roofing colour options. Thermatech® technology is designed to reflect more of the sun’s heat on hot sunny days, which can help keep homes cooler in the summer. In addition, choosing pale-toned roofs may also contribute to cooler local communities.

COLORBOND® steel’s environmental and sustainability credentials are recognised by a number of national and international green building rating tools and schemes including Green Star™, The Living Building Challenge (LBC) and Steel Sustainability Australia (SSA).
